Amber Maple Glo (AMG)

Paul,

How much work would go into taking a MG finish and making it AMG? Would you have to treat it like any other refinish job? Just wondering how much work and detail would go into it.

Not to speak for Paul but I think that would be a pretty simple job.

Anyways, how's the 350?

Ben's right. It's a pretty simple job. But it still entails stripping all of the parts off the guitar, masking every fret, scuffing every square millimeter of the the conversion varnish and after spraying, color sanding and buffing the guitar back up to a perfect gloss.

Then reinstall all of the parts, resolder the pickups, restring, check setup and intonation.

I've got a nice FG 370 waiting for an AFG job right now.

Ben,

The 350 is beautiful. Paul did a great job and I appreciate you guys taking care of the warranty issues and the TRC. I wasn't sure which I would enjoy more...playing it or staring at it. So now I play in front of the mirror.

Thanks for asking Ben!

So if the bass was in need of an AMG finish, I could bring that the same time as Michael's Flying V?
