I've gone down to 6 gtrs at the moment....my 6 players. 5 are FG & I'm hoping to swap my 381-12MG for a FG soon.
I always start feeling a little uncomfortable with gtrs that I don't use, but no doubt the numbers will grow again very soon! I'd like a 1996 & an early '90's 330, so I'm planning already!

Hey Tony, my 350V63 is getting easier
to play. Have you seen one in Blueburst?
Now if I didn't buy the Jetglow I would
have gone with the Blueburst. Where I bought
the guitar they just carry the stock colors.
I don't think that they would special order
that color don't know why but that's how they
are.

Lou, I'm glad your getting on with your 350...a great gtr. I've seen blueburst, but it's not for me! JG is a classic, you're OK with that.
Yes...the BG one John, the same BG that Mike now has. I traded it for a 1997, which has now gone to Clive! I can't help thinking that I should just stick with three pickup 24 fret neck gtrs, as they really suit my music. A 340 is about as good as it gets for me, although my '84 WB, to which I added a third pickup is pretty ultimate...330 shape, but all the trimmings!
I have a dilemma at the moment...I have two 12's, a 360V64FG & a 381MG. But I'd really like either a 340-12 (or a 330 to which I could add a third pickup), or a 12 string 360WB & three 12's is overkill.....one has to go. I can't bear to part with my V64, but now I have a 381, I'm loathe to let it go!

I saw it at the confluence Clive & it looks very nice indeed. However, I much prefer the 330 shape, both in sound & looks & also, although I think that my 650 looks great, I'm not a monty fan at all...never been into brown! I like the 650 because of all the gold, I just think it suits the gtr & the colour a treat. I think I'll stick to fireglo for the rest though!

Tony, I just like to have different colors
my Gretsch is black so I have a matching set.
With in the next two weeks I'm going to have
the 350V63 setup. I thought about doing it but
I have a friend who works at a music store and
he does it for me. Any new recordings?

I just love FG big time Lou, but at the moment, things seem to be conspiring to force me into other colours....my monty 650, MG 381-12....where will it end!
For me, it's all about the sound & the neck. I have had dozens of Rics through my hands & am pretty set on what I want. They're all different, even identical models sound & feel different, so when one comes along that really suits you, you have to have it....regardless of colour!
I just thank the Lord that the best gtr in the world ever, is FG....my '84 370WB
(even better than my benchmark '97 345).

Tony, I was checking a local dealer web
sight and he has a 360-6 and a 330-12
both in Fireglow. I have his phone number
and I was thinking of trading my Gretsch
for the 360 Rickenbacker. The Gretsch that
I have has been discontinue so in a few more
years it may be worth more. Now back to the
350V63 I'm going to bring it to GC they have
a Line 6 Vetta 11 I would like to hear how it
sounds thru that amp. Tony do you or anyone
on this forum know anything about those amps.

I don't know a lot about these modeling amps Lou. Some people like them, though they're not for me. A good valve amp & you can't go wrong IMO, all the tone you want & not trying to be all things to all men!
Use your ears though Lou, when you try it & if possible, also try it in direct comparison with other amps in the shop, so you get a better idea on how it sounds to the competition. It may well be the amp for you, but see if you can try an all valve Marshall/Vox/Fender etc to compare.
