Jammin Jersey in Northridge CA.

Post by moonliner »

Hello,
Has any one here every ordered an instrument from a store called "Jammin Jersey" in Northridge, CA.?
They only take checks or money orders.. no credit cards. Seems a bit odd to me.

I never dealt with them, but they have been around for a while.

The no credit card thing is not unusual

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. Good to know they've been around for a while. I guess I'm just used to stores that will take your money in any form :-)

It's right down the street from me. There's been posts here about them here before. They have a few Ricks, but keep them in their cases out of reach. Nothing on display to even indicate they have them in the store - other than what's online. I've heard they won't even open them for you unless your seriously interested. Again, that's what I've heard.

It's the type of store I love - packed floor to ceiling with used gear - especially drums. It's drum heaven.

But to answer your question, I've never purchased an instrument there, just expendibles. They have been there for a long time - at least 20 yrs, so probably no worries about them being fly by night.
