Sorry to hear that! I had mine take on March 17. I did end up getting it back after putting info and pictures everywhere and always checking eBay! just be sure not to go too Gung Ho with it if you see it in places. Make sure you corner the rat! I did and it worked out good!
Tell me does it feel the same when you've set upon a change but your heart's in the old times?

Hi everyone, and THANK YOU John for posting the info about my stolen 4003 and introducing me into the Rikky World...
Erik, I don't think my 4003 was stolen before I bought it. I won the bid for it on E-bay almost exactly one year ago. Is there something that I don't know about it that I should?
It is the one single inanimate object I have wanted consistantly since I was 16 and discovered an original copy of "Meet the Beatles" in a box of my high school girlfriend's mothers stuff in the attic. I remember laughing hysterically at the cover and thought I would find the music just as funny. But, kinda like the Ebola virus, my insides were scrambled and rearranged and I've never been the same (the "Saturday Night Fever" that was desperately trying to emulate into the "Urban Cowboy" died in minutes after contact, to be reborn as the "Urban Spaceman").
Being a liner note detective, I quickly discovered the links to the only substance for which my brain had an abundance of receptors that nothing else would bond with.
I very quickly became aware of the fact that Rickenbacker was one of the threads running through it all.
So last year, at the age of forty, I finally got my Rickenbacker. Beset by financial problems this past year, I've sold two cars, my Carvin R600 amp, my H. Jack 5 (string) Custom bass, my Fender Fretless bass, my Washburn bass, and my Peavy guitar all so I could keep my Ric.
And now it's been stolen.
Again, it's Turquoise with white trim, Ric-o-Sound and stereo, mint mint mint condition. I only have part of the serial number 05654, and am still trying to get in touch with someone who has the other part of it on file.
Any assistance in finding it would be very much appreciated.

Why is it at a party where an impromtu jam by musicians who haven't played todether before, people get all hung up on what songs they know instead of just jamming in something pleasant, like D or something?
