George explains drive-in movies

He was funny and charming the brief moment I met him. Within the fabs his humor was slyer and drier, IMO. Just as good as the rest.

A funny (John) quip I remember is onstage, after Paul finishes his (solo, w/orchestra) rendition of Yesterday, John comes back onstage and says, "Thanks Paul, you sound just like him".

John's puns were very funny. Hence the live version of Mr. Moonlight sung to Germans "here I am on my nose, begging if you please." Or calling Murry the K a "wacker."

The Anthology has a scene of George introducing Paul for "Yesterday." George says, "And now, for Mr Paul McCartney of Liverpool, opportunity knocks!"

That was an awesome video clip! Awesome guitar as well...

George is awesome. The world needs more people like him.

On the subject of "Yesterday" humor... how about the bit in the Anthology that Alan is mentioning... After George's intro, Paul plays the song, then John comes back and says "Thank you, Ringo, that was wonderful."

I laugh so hard when I see that.
