What about me ? Nobody would ever pay me to play guitar, but I want to be loved as well. That's OK, I've brought my Ric out to play in front of people, and it's all over my next record. Someday Tony, I will win you over, but, until then, stay mad, stay Tony, stay your usual, carnivorous, doggedly stubborn self !

Steve, how did the event go?

Lots of bands there, smooth sailing or bumps?

Sounded like a fun day.
I'm just happy to be here.

We all love you Steve....Image.

Without you, this forum would just not be the same......there would be no one to keep an eye on me & keep me in check. Image

BTW, why wouldn't anyone pay you to play gtr? When you're in England, you are welcome to stand in as an honourary Carnivore for a song or two!

Gary, it was an awesome day, the other bands could not have been cooler, we hung out and partied all day...and made a few new friends along the way as well. Image

Thanks Tony, I am the rare case of the needy heterosexual male. I did play open-mic this weekend with my Guild 12-string acoustic - one day, I'll bring a rig with the Ric. I am happy to bring my whimsical sarcasm into the mix here. You, of course, are a vital member of the Rickenbacker community! If ever I am in England, and get to ring out some chords on your stage, all I ask, for my contribution, is a free pint or two !

Cheers -> Steve-O.

Steve, your profile still lists your favorite Rickenbacker as "The Blueburst I don't have yet!"

I'll have to fix that, then, won't I Image Either that, or I am longing for yet another...

Technically speaking, I'm in my underwear in this shot, but since you all are practically like a second family, I think it's OK :

In actuality, most of my guitar parts are recorded at home, wearing very little clothing. I'm usually hopped up on Jim Beam as well. What ever happened to Howard, anyway ? He likes to talk about drinking and taking baths.

I'm here, Steve! Image

I try not to get too 'hopped up' when I'm playing - I'm lousy enough when I'm sober!

I haven't had a bath for years...........

I second the motion, J. Gary!

Spring has come...Image
Speaking of being sober/drunk while playing... the only thing i can say for sure, is that when i'm a bit tipsy, it seems to me i'm cool. Yeah... but looks like i will never get that "star" chip - there's always my daughter around to help & tell me i'm wrong. Image
