The Line 6 amps (I have one) seem to have a following among younger players, I suspect who have not had time to really play a good tube amp.

I have also a VOX AD30VT. Much better sound; the Line 6, I would describe as "dry". I have an ART 825 Rulesbreaker, early 2-12 Modelling amp and it's terrific but no longer made.

Tubes, man. Ricks and tubes go together like...well, you know...

Off topic.....what do you know about mounting issues w/ B5s on C58s ? My recollection is early B5s were a tad smaller....

Have not tried it on a C58. Others on this Forum have.

I'm doing one on a 320 currently, and eyeballing this setup, it became obvious that the B5 was too long and the 320 would require major mods for it to fit.

So I came up with another solution. Pics of this soon, as I am about to do an essay on the reworking of this guitar...

Paul, do you know anything about the line 6
Vetta 11? later today I'm going to GC just to
try one. I want to hear how it sounds with my
350V63 and my Gretsch.

Over the weekend I did try the Vetta
and I didn't like it. Way to much I would
have to spend more time learning than playing.
The Rick did sound good thru the amp but I
like my AC-30TBX better. With strings which
ones are the best.

The 350V63 is a great guitar so what I would
like to know is this. What is the best Amp to
use with the 350V63 to get the sound that you
hear in your head? For me its the reissue Vox
AC-30TBX.

Has anyone ever put a Ric O Sound in there
350V63? I wonder what type of sounds you
could get.

Lou,

I've found there's not too much a Fender tube amp can't do with a Ric...I use a '57 Twin with a '63RI Reverb.

Lou, do you mean has anyone installed a Rick-O-Sound jack? Stock, the venerable 350v63 is mono-out only.
