I got my Ebay'ed 360WB today and I love it! Gotta get it a case, though, I can't have a Rick staying in a gig bag. I tried to stick it in my 330's case and it doesn't fit. What sort of case am I going to have to get for it? Is there an SKB style that will work? I guess I could go with a vintage style, but I kinda prefer the modern cases.
My 360 appreciates any help you can give me, it's tired of the gig bag.
Thanks for the reply, Brian. I just gave it another try, and it does fit, just barely. It's a very tight squeeze. It was a bit tight for my 330 at first, though, so maybe they just need some time to expand a bit to fit the guitar.
I had recently bought a brand new, silver vintage 330/360 case for my old 360-12 when I got my 360-12 WB and figured I'd just switch cases and keep the silver one for the WB when I sold off the regular 360-12. Wrong! The WB could be crammed into the silver case, but not in a way that I felt good about. You had to really mash the foam padding at the head and along the sides to get it in there and then there was guitar awfully close to the outside of the case in a couple places. The WB came with it's original black vintage tolex case which was in pretty good shape, but I really miss that lovely blue poodle fur that the silver one had. The cases were the same size, but the WB sat at a different angle for more length and the padding was shaped differently. The regular 360-12 flopped around in the WB case, so I had to sell it with the silver one. I miss my poodle fur, but at least I have a case that's not exerting a lot of force on the guitar.
I still have the Ric plastic 330/360 case that I originally got with the 360-12 and the WB fits snugly, but properly in it so who knows? I guess I'll use that one for a Jello mold.
