The body style is the same - no binding, contoured on top. The v63 has a toaster at the neck with 1/2" spacing and a horseshoe at the bridge. Also has vintage knobs, split tailpiece, plexi TRC, and 60's style headstock Did I miss anything?
Also the V63 has the longer (top to bottom) portion of the pickguard (goes all the way to the treble pickup surround. Also, no Rick-O-Sound.
The 2060 does have a "finish" on the headstock, just a clear gloss on the face, not on the back or the sides. Interesting.
The V63 is indeed mint, but the 2060 has seen plenty of action. Some surface scratches, the unfinished fretboard has some imbedded finger oil and dirt, and the gold plating is wearing off the bridge/tailpiece and knobs. It is pretty, though, and I thought it unusual enough to purchase (for too much, though). You gotta really want one to pay as much as I did, and when I sell it someday, I'm facing a net loss. Except for the weight, it plays very much like my Cheyenne I.
