Noisy Toasters.....why no RWRP version?

Post by wayne »

Has anybody found one of the after market pick-up makers offering a reverse wound/reverse polarity Ric pick-up? This is amazing to me that we all put up with the noise of the toaster Ric pick-ups when we could have complete silence when using both pick-ups if one was a RW/RP version. Most of the time on my 360/12V64 I am using both pick ups, as probably a lot of you do. Imagine recording with a toaster equipped Ric with no noise issue what so ever. Seems like somebody would offer this option.

I've wondered about this too...

I see Lindy Fralin does rewinds on RIC pickups. Perhaps he could do RW/RP?
