LOL Dane....

And....

In trying to hopefully prevent a repeat of yesterday's posting events, I have put the picture here (with, my considerably better half's permission...) for future public reference...

Andrew, Thanks for the link. I take it that the photographer was influenced by the Star Stowe / Azureglo Bass centerfold from 1976? Image

Thanks Andrew, I don't see what's wrong with that photo. I kinda like girls in their beach attire.

What's wrong with a nice looking women in a bathing suit holding a.....um......er.....what the heck was she holding?

Okay, now I see the problem, never-mind!
I'm just happy to be here.

Darren, I am very fond of aesthetics, and in this case, the two go extremely well together in my opinion. But, of course, in this instance I am biased...Image

I am sure the original 76 AZG 'fold was very good publicity for the 4001 bass.

And, to put the record straight, it's a Dec 71 Super-Deluxe model holding a 68 deluxe...

Great basses Andrew..

That's one of the cleanest FG I've ever seen for it's age.

Thanks Dave.

It is a very, very clean one. Truly a case queen. Probably no more than a handful in the world left in this condition.
I don't think the guard has ever been unscrewed...

The burst blend on that FG is how I like them, really nice! Well blended, not a sharper edge-heavy one.
