Went in to talk to salesman Friday-got treated like dirt! All the way from the b-atch secretary to the guy talking on the phone for 15 minutes, while I waited. Time to look elsewhere!

Looks like we might have another candidate for the trademark infringement amnesty program for the horseshoe. (It's registered trademark #3,084,785 as of 25 April 2006 with an acknowledged first use of 1931). Infringers who produced these goods after 1931- contact [email protected] for terms of the amnesty and keep yourself out of federal court!

Jared, out of curiousity, why do you need to own one of these, rather than renting one? Not sure what you'd do with these on a regular basis, unless it's business related.

John, is there any word on whether or not the 'shoes will be available as a part for order thru RIC soon? I remember it was talked about here a while back...just made me think of it.

I promised that these would be available when the legal issues were resolved with infringers. This is the other shoe dropping (!) and my promise will be kept.

This may be jumping the gun, but how much (roughly) will they sell for when they do become available?

Roughly, somewhere between $1 and $1000 suggested list price.

Please excuse my ignorance, but are these things just cosmetic pickup covers that make it look like a HS pickup?

This has to be the best thing I've ever heard. Ever.
