In answer to Jeffrey(Jps) some british people have a fascination with american products because depending on the product, they are better made, better looking.Cars, guitars, motorbikes etc america just do it better than anyone else.
Well, if looking around at rush hour were any indication, I'd say America's attitudes are the Germans and the Japanese do it better (that's only on the the cars and bikes). But this is SoCal, not yer typical American community.
But for a country that is only 514 years old the impact it has had on the rest of the world is outstanding. No other country could have started Rock n Roll and all the other things to numurous to list.
I'll take that as a compliment, Shawn. But I think there is just some sort of attraction to exotic things from a faraway land! Where you are a Ford Mustang fits that bill. When I was growing up MGs, Jaguars, Austin Healys and Triumphs were pretty darned cool. They still are, come to think of it!
And as for Ford (I like Fords, by the way...the new GT, the new Mustang, the new Thunderbird...all sweet cars in my book), the one acronym I haven't seen here yet is: F#(*ing Old Re-Built Dodge!
