It was filmed in 1996. What about a 4001CS with a high gain? There is one shot of the back of the headstock that looks cream.

You can see the headstock briefly at :06 and again at :26, both times from the rear. Walnut wings, like a Rickenbacker angel.

Really looks like a 4001CS to me.

And I hate that performance, sucked the life out of a great song.

Definitely not a CS, the headstock for sure is cream with walnut, not vermillion wings, the knobs have the chrome tops and the treble pickup is a standard hi-gain.
