Dunno about Rick acoustics specifically, but my favorite acoustic strings by far are Elixirs.

I use Elixir Nanowebs on mine.... quite a while back there was a thread in which JH mentioned the recommended string gauges, and after that I contacted www.stringsandbeyond.com, and they were able to put together a Ric acoustic package that I think is still on their site.... They were extremely helpful, and their service is excellent. Last year I had just changed my strings a couple of days before a gig, and I broke one, and was on my last set, and they rushed me some new sets in time to save the day!

What guage do you use? I normally use 9s on electrics, 10s on my short scale...

The stock RIC acoustic comes with: 10 14 24 32 42 53. That's per Mike Parks via John Hall.

Cole is correct.... and I just checked out Strings and Beyond's site again--if you click on the Elixir icon on the home page and then scroll down, you'll see that they still have the Ric acoustic special, which is a custom set in those gauges.
