660/12 BBR Blueburst

Post by tim_g »

Is anyone else out there waiting for one? Mine was ordered April '05 and I'm dying to get it. How long is the typical wait for a "color of the year" Ric?

A while. These have just begun showing up in stores as of late, and chances are they were ones ordered in January 05.

Did you guys see the one on the sold list at musiczoo.com? It's gorgeous!

I sure did and had inquired about it. It was a 660/6. One of the nicest flame patterns I've seen on a Rickenbacker. It was out of range for my budget.

Yeah, I tried to get it but someone already snagged it.

My 660/6 BBR has been on order with Pick-O-Da-Ricks
since 1/23/05. From looking at the recently shipped list, it looks like they just finished a run of 660s....I wonder when they will start up again...

My 360/12MB was ordered in Dec 2003, and arrived at the dealer in April 2006.

I ordered a 1996 AFG on December 15, 1490. Then they had to discover the new world...invent electricity...found the company...etc....

I ordered my first 1996 AFG on 1/17/06 and it arrived on 3/24/06. Not bad!

I ordered a 360/12VP BBR on Nov 8, 2005, and a 1996 AFG on January 23 - Both from Pick of der Ricks. I wonder which will show up first???
