335's

Post by rick_ovic »

I thought it most appropriate to celebrate my 335th post with a couple of photos of my favorite 335 models.

The first is my '59 335 Capri:-

Next one is my '66 335:-

The last one is my '60 335F. I bought this last year and it has been looked after by a friend in the US ever since. I've not yet seen or played the guitar in the flesh yet. Yesterday I found out I'm being sent to New York on business in two weeks time. This means I get to collect my baby and bring it home very soon. Wooohooo!

Darren, cool! Rare to see white guards with TV (oven) knobs. I guess this means I won't get to see the guitar in person. Darn! Will see you in Santa Ana anyway.

Darren,

Congrats on post 335. Your instruments are incredible.

John, you'll miss seeing the 335F but you won't miss seeing the '60 360 Capri! I'll see you in Santa Ana and then in Columbia a few days later once I've picked up the Capri. At least now I'll have a spare hand free to bring back another Rick maybe!

Howard, I'm looking forward to Greg and you having a bash on ol' Fatboy!

Thanks for your comments everyone.

I guess that means there's nothing left for me...

Your '59 is my favorite shade of Mapleglo - one of my favorites from the calendar. Image
