Never saw this in the RIC catalog . Special order color ?

No, it was a standard color in the 90's and up until recently. I think it was discontinued about a year or two ago.

That looks well ! I didnt think turquoise could look so good on a guitar. Its unbelievable that I havent seen one in this colour before.

Turquoise is a metallic color, in the vein of Midnight Blue and Ruby. It was dropped as a standard color after 2003. There have been some variations: darker, brighter, bluer, greener, but you should expect that in hand-applied finishes over a long period of time. Nice color!

Great colour ! Ric nearly always get it right with colours..... they have a knack for it as far as I can see. There really hasnt been many (if any) that I arent keen on. The colours are usually very striking and classy looking.
