4001v63 neck repair

Last year, 9/3/02 to be exact, I posted a message to this forum about the sad state of the neck of my 4001v63. Thanks to someone on this forum, I was put in touch with Mark Arnquist. Mark sent me an email last October detailing the type of repair work the neck most likely required. At the time, I didn't have the money to pay for the repair but after 6 months I finally have enough and I've contacted Mark and am shipping the bass to him tomorrow.

I'll post again once Mark receives it and takes a look at it. He priced the repair based on my description of the problem but until he sees it for himself there is no guarantee that it can be repaired.

I've got my fingers crossed. This bass is beautiful but is borderline unplayable in its present state. I'll post an update when I hear from Mark.
