Finally . . . 2 Ricks at once . . .
I know it's nothing compared to a lot around here but for the first time (and hopefully forever) I am a 2 Rick Household. A Fretless and a Fretted 4003. Fire Glo and a Jet Glo.
The only 2 basses I have right now. Maybe someday I'll get another Jazz bass (yea, I like Fenders too) but for NOW I'm content. I dreamt about this as a kid.

Hi Greg,
CONGRATULATIONS!
BE CAREFUL, playing RIC guitars can become VERY ADDICTING....trust me on this one..... ESPECIALLY if you hang around on this board for a while!
The darn things should come with a warning label, like cigarettes, "exposure to Rickenbacker basses can and WILL become addictive and COULD be hazardous to your health.....ESPECIALLY if you're married"!

"Freedom of expression is important, but I have learned that people want to know how much you care before they care how much you know."
The only time a bass player gets noticed is when he stops playing.

GAS is bad, no doubt. I fight the urge all the time, and it's hard. A fretless Rick? Newer ones have less side markers I think - then that could become a need...
A fretted J bass? A P bass? A 4000 would be nice to complement the 4001 and 4004L...
Not to mention the need for better amplification. And more band PA gear...we need a voltage conditioner...
It never ends.

Above e-mail is inactive. try ed_ardzinski@**** where **** is Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com. I tend to see things inthe hotmail box quicker...
