I'm with you Dave
I use a Levy (which I love), but the wife bought me a RIC strap last year - unfortunately it just isn't "substantial" enough for me

Oh, they do make Bass Guitar Straps, there's just a 48 year backlog....

I like the vintage style strap with the shoulder pad. I have been using one for about thirty years. The pad has remained constant but I have worn through three or four of the straps .

I think Levy makes the vintage style straps for Rickenbacker.
