My new 4003S

Post by bosco64 »

This was Henny's 4003S, I got it a week ago last Friday. I finally got around to take a few pictures of it. All it needed was a little bit of cleaning, and it looks fantastic. Very comfy to play, and it sounds as good as it looks. I left the pickup cover on to give it a V63 vibe. I just want to thank Henny for making all this possible. I know he really loved this bass, and I assured him that I would give it a good home. Here's some pics:

Nope, Pyramids. I had a spare set laying around the house.

Indeed a shame they discontinued the S line.

Awesome basses.

Not because of me either, I bought more than my fair share.

I find it hard to believe anyone would sell a bass they really love except in cases of extreme financial hardship. If that is the case I feel bad.
That is a beautiful bass, now take that silly cover off of it so you can play it properly.

Wow! Ron,

That was certainly worth the wait. You did well.

That's a beautiful bass.

Gorgeous, love those chunky horns. I think the S line will always attract more attention because people notice there's something different about them. I too wish they were still available.

Still gasing for a Mapleglo and blueboy V63 and a burgandyglo 4003S...

Congrat's Ron. Them S basses sure are comfy, curvy and smooth aren't they? They're even smoother without frets!
