It's missing the finger rest, so I would give you about $200.00 for it.

Really though, that thing is in good shape. Should bring in a pretty penny.

Wouldn't you want to rip out that ugly ol' horse-shoe pickup thing and drop in a Seymour Duncan or or EMG pickup? I'd get rid of the neck pickup too, it looks just like an old toaster. If this bass were mine I'd replace it with a Jazz bass pickup. Hand me an orbital sander and I'll fix up that tacky checkered binding as well! LOL! Image Image Image

It it were mine and were to put it up on eBay, I'd start it at $1,000 and let the market determine the price. Looks like the tailpiece has lost most of its plating, not surprising. Note the full width inlays, but not crushed pearl. Also note walnut head wings and squared off neck heel.

I can tell you what mine cost 3 years ago. That would only be a starting point. Of course then there is always the UK premium that can be added to any Rick.

No Ted - not in the UK

Are you sure that's not like a 1968?..............no Bobcat, I'm only going on what the guy said so far. He has a '69 for around $4000 but no horseshoe - so I would think he's sure this one's a '63?

Mine has binding. I am reasonably sure that bass is also a '63. The key details match up nicely with my '63.
