Help! No output from neck pickup!!?

I connected the wires and the neckpickup gives some output, but not in the way it should. When I put the switch to soloing the neck pickup, I don't hear a thing. When I use both pickups I don't hear the neckpickup unless I turn the volume of the neckpickup to zero. (!)
I wired it as the way on Joeys scheme.

There is also this scheme, but I don't really understand it. It does look different then the scheme from Joey.

Ok, I found out what the problem was. Now I'm able to fix it. Thanks all, for your help
