We'll keep you posted as we work out the details Melissa.

Yoko called today. Apparently she had heard that we were recording a new Beatles single. She wants Sean to play on the A side. I negotiated a small part on the B side (triangle). The working name for the B side is "Oh No Yoko". Playing triangle, works for Sean since he is very proficient. It's a difficult instrument to master, you need to be in a "Zen place" to get the timing right. She also wants almost all of the proceeds to go to the establishment of an Imaginary Park in Florida. She is one tough customer. We are still negotiating on the park. She also wants a small portion of the proceeds allocated to homeless people in Central Park. She is very demanding.

I just hung up the phone when Julian and Cynthia came on the line demanding similar concessions. Julian has agreed to participate in the harmony parts. Cynthia wants a new chest of drawers to house her Lennon memorabilia that she discovered after they closed Strawberry Field. As you can tell my day has been busy. I must have a leak in my internet connection? I'll have to check that out.

Dislaimer: I have never heard from or spoken to any person referenced in the fictional story that appears in the above post, but more particularly not anyone named Yoko.

Aitch he called me too.

It seems that as long as we credit him first on the song that we can use one or two elements that we discussed. However he insists, that we not make any deal on the proceeds with others. He wants any monies made to go towards a couple of charities that he is negotiating with.

I told him that we will get our people to call his people on that matter and he said fine and hung up on me. Aitch do we have any people that make our arrangements of this sort yet? This is getting complicated and we don't even have a bass player and a drummer yet. More headaches are in store I can see it all coming now. It's enough to drive you round the bend.

I thought you said this was gonna be fun. It seems like a lot of work to me. I feel like we've been led down the garden path.

We were supposed to just simply make a record and end up with a hit. Threats of litigation, egos as large as a house and damn paperwork seem to be getting in the way.

Now what?

John the 350 sounds so bluesy with the current pickup configuration I am scared to change it.

But you are right it would be a little closer to my dream guitar if it had two toasters in mid and neck positions as well as the humbucker.

Brian, you have some very nice guitars in your Jetglo collection. I particularly like the 360V64. The gold pickguard and vintage knobs look great on the 4003.

Here's one of my favourite Black Beauty photos:-

Darren I like the 360/12 V64 that would be a great match to my 6'er. That's a nice 4000 bass too. What year is it?

I've just talked to Paul. He said he didn't want to cause troubles to the guys who are oh so nice, and he promised he wouldn't sue you. Said, "let them do what they will, and good luck to them!" So no worries.
Great pic, Darren.

Well Sheena after such a great result perhaps we should strongly consider you for our manager. Then we could say "we'll get our people to make arrangements with your people" and it would be true...
