It is pretty banged up on the headstock and around the body... I don't want to re-finish it..
So I found a neat trick that works really good for touching up the paint... Actually I learned this trick from a chic...who used matching red nail-polish to repair the scratches on her 1972 Camaro..
I found black nail-polish that is Nitrocellulose based...called "WetShine"...
I touched up all the areas a few layers...then the next day I put polishing compond on a rag and used a lot of elbow grease... I got the touch-ups to blend in a look good... From a few feet away it looks perfect...
The smell of the nail polish is strong..WOW!!!
Now i realize why my girlfriend is an "air-head"....she breaths all those fumes from doing her nails all the time.... Shes killing off the few brain cells she has left
