Oh! Also, yes, those strings are correct. Rickenbacker strings their 12s this way.

Nice guitar to fall into.

I've been playing this thing for a few weeks now and I've come to the conclusion that it just really isn't my cup of tea. It absolutely sounds fantastic for what it is, but my playing style is no where near what this guitar excels at. Maybe I'm just not a 12 string type of guy.

Anyway, I've decided to go ahead and let it go along with pretty much all the gear I mentioned in an earlier post. I do have a "letter" of authenticity signed by Kenny Howes from RIC. He said it's essentially the same thing as the original certificate, just in a different format.

The serial number isn't E1, it's E3.

I'm going to try and post the guitar for sale in the proper part of this forum so if anyone is interested in it, check over there. Also, I'm selling the two combo amps and the pedals over at The Gear Page:

My ebay ID is bailnout67. I have a score of 127 with a 100% rating. So fear not...I'm an honest guy.

I thank you all for helping me with this. It's not been real easy for me because of the loss I suffered in acquiring this guitar. It absolutely won't fill the void for me so I'm going to part with it and use the money to get something to remember him by.

E3. OK, makes sense. I do not have some of those. I will make a note of this one.
