Gold pickguards - http://www.pickguardian.com

Truss rod cover - RIC has changed their policy. You can only trade TRC's for the same one you're trading. You'll have to shell out big bucks for one or paint your regular white one (If you have one, that is).

That would be trademark infringement.

yeah but its going back on a genuine ric. i see aftermarket companies making "ford mustang" stickers on the open market. if youre putting it back on a ford mustang then wheres the infringement?

great...The Ric site says the oven knobs are "temporarily unavailable." cant win lol

Try Mike Parks' page for oven knobs, I think I got mine there actually. He's great to deal with as well:

And even though it's going on a real Rick, I don't think it's legal for somebody like Pickguardian to completely fabricate one and sell it to you.

thanks.

dont u think ric is getting a little paranoid with these limitations?

its going to be a pain in the *** now to get this truss rod cover. i think exchanging the original white one should be adequate enough of a limitation.

I know that it's been mentioned in the past that there is a restriction on the gold TRC's to prevent people from passing off their instruments as "C-Series" when they are not.

Well, it would be hard to pass a 350v63 off as a "C" series. It's full scale! Image

Ric seems to be shooting themselves in the foot on this one. They are knocking themselves out the money for exchanging TRC's. My 360 is not a C unless it were a 12 360 I guess.
If yours has the raised letters like mine you could always paint it gold then high light the TRC Ric letters in black.
I would just buy the black Ric knobs for it too. Every one knows its not a 325.
