I have a Korg AX1500G. It accepts 2 amps on the output side of things. I can set my amps they way I want and bypass all the effects, and away I go. One cable to the Korg, then one to each amp.

It looks like I will have to re-order a RIC-O-Sound unit from a dealer. I received a very courteous e-mail today from RIC customer service, explaining that they cannot ship parcels over 1lb to Canada. Drats!!!!

When I bought my very first 4001 new in the UK, it came with a stereo set of leads. It was quite strange as it was a stereo jack, with two lines coming out of it to terminate in two mono plugs for each amp. Also, it was about 5 feet long, so it was essentially useless. I used it once or twice for the novelty, and never again.

I bought one of the NOS Ric-O-Sounds from RIC about a month ago. You never know when you're going to see them again.

A TRS to TS splitter (Y cord) is commonaly used as an insert on most mixing consoles. Tip send, Ring receive, common ground. The Tip would be one signal, the ring the other.

That's too bad Brian - I don't know about your experience my mine has been that the only authorized RIC dealers in my area of Canada have absolutely NO interest in anything to do with Rickenbacker, and that includes not just guitars which but also strings and accessories.

Phil we only have Long & Mcquade here in BC and they are as about as knowledgeable as my dogs are about all things Rickenbacker.

When I asked them a couple years ago about buying a new 12 string. They said sure we can order you one if you want to wait two years, Oh and BTW you have to pay in full in advance.

I asked them about a case and some parts one time and they just laughed and gave me the list price and a God only knows response about delivery date. So now I order my Rickenbacker needs from the good old USA.

I wonder how I'd go bringing one in from the US for you, Brian...... if you can wait that long, of course!

You have enough to pack with you as it is Aitch.

When I get a chance I'll put one on order. The dealers I buy from do a great job and they really look after me.

Thanks for the offer though. It's much appreciated.

Brian - yup - that's just about it. But I didna want to mention any company names. We have two dealers here in Ontario ( 2 - can you believe it!) - except that one of them (won't name the company) has like 20 stores. That is so typically Canadian - especially here - where we have only one company for Alcohol, another for Beer, another for chips....
BTW, I spoke to the RIC dealer in Edmonton by phone recently however and had a totally different experience.
