Hey Ben, is the color specifically on basses only? I'm good with basses right now, but if I really dig the color, I wouldn't be averse to ordering a guitar.

I'm really hoping for silver...but if Ben said it "was a mistake", it's probably a variation on one of the existing colors, like an AzureGlo.

How about a strip of every color every offered??!?!? hahahahah I just kill me sometimes. No matter what the color, it is going to be neat to see if the neck is similar profile to my 4001 and what other items are present.... Anticipation!!!

Azureglo would be very cool Steve. I know you're partial to that finish. I'm just hoping that it can be ordered on a guitar as well.

Hmm, maybe Autumnglo? Perhaps they sprayed some Fireglo on too dark or something.

Isn't Midnight Blue a metallic base with blue sprayed on top? Maybe this limited finish starts with the metallic base and something different over it? This might make sense if the new finish was discovered as a "mistake".

Please RIC, no more blue for the time being. There are loads of other colours to try out. RIC already have two Fireglos available this year, so I doubt that'll be it.

I assure you no new blues will be offered for the foreseeable future.

We're thinking basses AND guitars for this color.

We no longer spray a metallic base for Midnight. It's straight out of the can.

Ah - thanks for the clarification Ben.
Perhaps this limited colour will only be available to Confluence attendees - Confluenceglo?

My guess is something of a Frying Pan-glo. That would coincide with the museum opening and could look like a screw-up.

I don't like colors for basses. Make it white! But unfortunately i'm sure it won't be white..
So I don't really care.

I'm more interested in parts to upgrade my 4003.
So i prefer the new bridge design, HS pickups for sale again etc.

Hmm. Maybe the return of Ruby; not a clear red over silver, but a "straight out of the can" metallic red?

Hey, I'd be happy with Turquoise back in the lineup!
