It appears something is wrong with the site. IF you GOOGLE POTR, then hit CASHED, the site stalls, but IT WILL COME UP.

I notified Chirs at POTR & he rectified the situation.

There was some kind of error that he took care of.

The site is working properly since the correction was made.

Ed: Whatever happened took place sometime yesterday. I've been in and out of the site all day and at some point, the site went bonkers.

Hit refresh - you're displaying the cached page.

Tony - odd that I haven't visited in months, and just did so a couple times in the last few days with no problems. Could be a cached page issue like Alan suggests, and I just hadn't been there for so long I didn't have the problem page...maybe clear out your temporary internet files and do a spyware clean up?

Nice to see Chris having an influx of 4004's... Image

Could be hijacked. I hesitate to get involved in tech support here but if I may suggest...it wouldn't be a bad idea to use a couple of what I call "poke n prod" tools to get any problems or nasty BHOs sorted out. I have a small arsenal that I usually start with: Spybot, Adaware, Hijackthis, and a good, old-fashioned beating about the head, neck, and shoulders.

Seriously though, I can probably help if the basics haven't worked. Email me off-forum if you like.

Assuming you're using IE, I would d/l a copy of Foxfire and see if that helps. I would also add a copy of Zone Alarm or Spybot's SD-Resident module to prevent further unauthorized registry changes.
If it ain't broke, break it, then fix it.

The Spybot memory-resident option is not, in my technical opinion, appropriate for most end-users. With due respect to any and all users, most people can't tell what's normal or expected with regard to registry changes and what's not. Spybot reports a LOT of stuff that just ends up confusing the user. Better to first analyze and address the problem than trump a proper solution by installing that type of protection. Spybot's "immunize" function is probably a better choice. Regardless, you must keep the software updated or, like an expired antivirus product, it will do orders of magnitude LESS good for you.
