Shawn,

Thanks! Let's also remember the troops when we think about our independence.

We'll be on the roof of the Whole Foods building, downtown Austin,Texas, overlooking the Colorado River. Two sets, then fireworks. Should have a good view.

Happy 4th to the Americans here. And don't forget happy Canada Day (July 1st) to all the Canucks! My band played an outdoor Canada Day party that completely rocked -- people danced all night despite about 20 cm of rain!! Luckily the band was well covered -- if my MB 4003 had gotten wet, all of the paint would have washed right off! At least I'd have a white binding again. :-p All the best to the U.S. troops in Iraq and Canadian troops in Afghanistan.

It sounds like my neighbors bought a box of dynamite again this year. BOOM! Makes me jump every time.. I'm all for a good depth-charge every now and again, but some visual appeal would be nice!

I plan a little visual appeal tomorrow evening! One must be discreet in these matters.....

The 4th is also the usual time to bring out the ether cannon! KA-BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

Happy 4th too all who celebrate! Remember all those who have and are insuring our freedoms. And thanks to those outside the US for all the nice wishes.
