For those of you unfamiliar with LA freeways, a 40 mile trip can take anywhere between 40 minutes and 3 hours.

I'm not sure if I'll make it to the concert since I have Angels/Yankees tickets for that day, but if I do, I can take 2 people.

R.C. or Gary I'll probably take you up on that...I'll be going solo this trip, so I'll get first round to whomever can help me out with a ride Image Thanks guys!

I will be renting a car so there is another possible means of travel. I've done the L.A. freeways many times; I'm sure it is much worse now than in the '80s when I lived there!

Parking in Hollywierd can be an issue, also.

It's been a couple of years since I've driven in LA. As far as parking goes, there's one word that comes to mind; Valet.

I drove back and forth a few times the weekend and NAMM and it was not too bad. End of summer, though, could be a whole different story.

Any idea when we pay for the special events themselves?

It's on RIC's website. A $50.00 donation for the first event and $50.00 for the second.

If you buy both you get upgraded to Gold Circle and go to the "Meet the Artists" reception.

I just got my airline tickets - saved $30 bucks over the price when this was first announced. Woo Hoo! Daddy, are we there yet?

Jerry, did you mean when can we get the tickets? On the website it says ticket purchase information/details will be forthcoming....

Yes Alisha, I was off the forum for a few days and thought I might have missed the info.

BTW, are sharpies and pickguards allowed?
