There's such a grey area with e-bay. I bought a pair of pickups, supposedly SD STK J-2's...the story of the seller was that he got them years ago from a friend, never used them.

The boxes said Seymour Duncan, but who knows wtf they are. Both are J bass neck PU's, so even if I shaved a little off one so that I could get it into my neck pu rout the other one would have looked just plain bad. I really didn't think I'd have an argument - there were two pu's, the seller said he was basically unaware of them, the boxes said what was advertised. Would I have won a dispute? Maybe, maybe not. For $60 it didn't seem worth it.

Maybe some day I'll get a gonzo bass, and use these two things in series just for a laugh...but in the meantime e-bay is a "look don't touch" place for me.

No gray area on this one:

Not even blue, not even a Rick...heck, not even a bass!
Above e-mail is inactive. try ed_ardzinski@**** where **** is Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com. I tend to see things inthe hotmail box quicker...
