Thanks, Kaia!Image
Yep the little angel turned out to be a punk rocker and a bona fide Rick chick to boot. Who would have figured that back then?

Angel, you say? Ask my Dad then...

No, seriously - it was meant to happen. Right from the start.
Oh, and here's the Rick guy - again. Looks like he plans to take everything!Image

Wow!! Go away for a few days and all kinds of stuff happens!! I'm just catching up after being away from any Internet since the 5th. Site was down and Sheena finally got her new Ric!!

Major congrats Sheena! It's a beauty. Your fingers worn out yet?

Play lots!

Thanx a ton, Dean!Image Well, my fingers are okay. Compared to what i played before... oh, nevermind. In fact, i had little time to play, unfortunately: first because it's "busy time before vacation", second because after we've found out this wonderful overdrive option, Mousie's spending hours with the guitar trying to make our neighbours move. We're fine, just fine...

Sorry for that long show off - that'll be the last pic... or maybe not Image Many thanks to everyone for their support & kind words. Cheers!

Congratulations Sheena!

I can't believe I missed this announcement for all these days!

Crank it up! Let your neighbors enjoy it too!

When my neighbors get a bit loud with their country music, I plug in my stack and play Sound Chaser from YES. That gets 'em EVERY time!

Thanks, Tony!Image
Oh, and country music playing loud is not the worst thing (imho). One of our neighbours enjoys modern pop songs (worst kind of). The other is - ehm - kind of learning to play bass. I sometimes have a feeling a certain big bear or elephant has stepped on both his ears when he was a kid. And so on. So, we're in a good company. And now a soon-to-be-nine girl with an electric guitar... wondering why i was in the office all day yesterday and posting from the office at the moment, too? Image
Whoopee! 200th post in this thread - not bad! I didn't expect it to be that long. Image

Sheena,
Sorry to be so late to this thread, but I sat down last night and read it end to end...absolutely teriffic!!! I remember opening the case to my first RIC. All I could do for a few minutes was stare. I didn't even want to pick it up. Best wishes and warmest regards.
PS - Go for the video!

Sheena.... I haven't seen too many posts from you lately--Bet you've been giving that Ric some serious attention after all the waiting you've had to do!

Again, Congrats! Image

Ehm, we're on a little vacation - away from the web, but with the Rick. Came "back to civilization" to get some things done & going away tomorrow or the day after tomorrow again. Image
Thanks, John and Melissa. I've tried to make the video, but after having a look at it on the camera screen... ehm, i guess i'll have to try again. Not to mention i've just realized how awful my pronunciation is! Image

Sheena,
Not to worry about pronunciation. There are plenty of people whose native tongue is English and you can't even understand them. I still say go for the video. BTW, as long as you have your RIC with you, it is vacation...Have fun
