Well I guess the general consensus is to wait for a new one and im gonna try, Ill probably wait until I get around 1k to actually order one though. I want to get as close to having the money as possible. My wife and I are expecting our first child in a couple of months and I want to make sure I have most of the money when I order that way if an unexpected emergency with the new baby occurs, It wont be as hard to pay the rest of the bass off. However, if one of you gentlemen do happen to find a used one that you feel that is in sound shape please send it my way!!

Thanks

Was $725 a good deal for that '83 4003?
It looks kind of beat.
I thought you could get nice used ones for $800-$900.

You can put down a $200 deposit at pickofthericks for a brand new Amber Fire Glow 4003 for $1,249.00 delivered. You will get a new bass with warranty and all of the great new mods that Ric has been lavishing upon us, not to mention a color of the year bass that is going to be smokin hot in the looks dept! By the time it gets made you should be able to come up with the last $450.

Or you can give me $900 for my 2004 Fireglow that I just bought for $1,035, and I'll just wait for a new Amber Fireglow myself...

You got pics of the bass by chance? If so do you mind emailing them to me at [email protected]?

Thanks

I am able to send up to 3.2 mp pictures.

I would like to ask that one of the long standing members here offer their help to John by being cc'd on our emails. I know how it is to have the hots for a Ric and I would prefer that he is informed correctly.

I am pretty new here Jon, I am an honest person and want everything to be up front and that is why I ask for a third party to join in and keep you informed on condition and relative value.
