. . . thanks for the warning, but can't he just say, "Don't bid on auctions from China." ?

I believe that he has the right idea, as Ebay is reluctant to get rid of the scam listings as long as they think they'll get listing fees from them.

The Chinese fake / counterfeit auctions are getting out of hand. We all need to report these scams every time we come across them. Do this by clicking on the "Report this item" link at the bottom of the listing.

Kris, what you just said in your last sentence was all he needed to say. As an editor, I found his listing (and I'm not blaming him for providing the warning) to be "reader unfriendly." I started nodding off after the first few sentences. Mixed fonts, sizes, colors, difficult to read, repetitive and overly obvious points -- all lead to rapid reader disinterest.

I disagree that listing fees are why Ebay is "reluctant" to address those auctions. The loss of transaction fees from burned customers would be a much greater issue for them.

There are also some borderline racist passages in that warning auction . . . still, his underlying message is good: these are scam auctions, so don't bid on them!

Not sure of the racist issue - he's just dissing these jerk scammers.

The only overtly racist thing that I see is his use of the name "chinkblitz" - that's going a little overboard in my opinion - certainly takes it out of the "borderline racist" category into overt racism if you ask me. I also find his claim to "our English language" to be a bit odd - wouldn't "the English language" suffice? He does try to make it clear though that he's not against all Chinese. Interesting approach against scammers though...

I'd forgotten that one, but it is aimed at the ******* scammers.

One of the auctions is up over $12,000 at last look. Ya gotta love it.
