Help for a dead 4004 humbucker?

Thank you very much guys! So I will take it apart as much as possible to access the coil wires... At least I can make use of the chrome parts for may 4003 bridge PU for better thumb rest.

When Jeff's old bass was on ebay I was checking out all the juicy parts on it: 2 toasters($200),HS ultralight tuners($100),Hipshot bridge($100),vintage plexi TRC($100?),vintage knobs(?),Jeff's labor($100) and the BIN was $1200. So I figure I got the bass for $600. Just kidding, that's some of that there fuzzy math. A big plus was this bass was routed for truss rod removal if required, and professionally done by R.I.C.
