That should have read "Neil" not Nigel.

from Wilkapedia.

Neil Aspinall (born December 13, 1942) is best known as the assistant and road manager for The Beatles.

Aspinall was a childhood friend of Paul McCartney and George Harrison at the Liverpool Institute.

Aspinall even contributed to a few Beatles recordings, by playing tambura on "Within You Without You", harmonica on "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!", and backup vocals on "Yellow Submarine".

In the early 1990s, Aspinall was the executive producer for The Beatles Anthology.

He is the manager of The Beatles' company Apple Corps Ltd.

According to 'John' by Cynthia Lennon, "Neil was also Pete Best's mother's boyfriend and the father of [Best's] younger brother, Roag".

Actually, Aspinall's real birth name is Nigel. He hated the name and used both "Hollingsworth" and "Queequake" during his pre-teen years. But when he hooked up with Paul and George he quickly settled on "Neil".

Or does that belong in the 'Flights of Fancy' Thread?

Brammy: I have it on good authority that Aspinall's given name was 'Nimrod'. As a teenager, he went by the name 'Luxury Yacht', pronuounced 'throat-warbler-mangrove'.
