Works for me. I am never without imagination when it comes to excuses to buy "another one".

My wife never complains, bless her heart.

Perfect! Another excuse to add to the list. Although I'ts far too late for me. This place is addictive as well.

Actually Aitch had a good excuse last week. He blamed buying his latest acquisition on me. Mind you I have to confess that I did in fact have a hand in it. I suppose being blamed for making up his mind is not all that bad. Is it?

How doea this excuse rate for buying a Ric?
In 2003 my gorgeous wife gave birth to our 1st son,Kieran,.....about a month later,my first Ric arrived,Burgundy 1980 320/6.
In 2005 my gorgeous wife gave birth to our 2nd son,Paul,....about a month later,my second Ric arrived,Fireglo 2005 360/6.
Only problem with this excuse is, if i want more Rics,i'd have to buy a bigger house, and get "the OP" reversed!
Might not work for everyone!
