Selling my 4004LK (Lemmy Bass) ??!

Post by davezzzz »

I am * thinking * of selling my Lemmy. The offer will need to be ridiculous to convince me because I would rather sell a kidney. Please don't flame me. I'm having some tough times financially and this could really help me and my family out. My email is:
dave underscore zidek at comcast dot net.
Change the words to get the real email addy.

Sorry to hear that Dave.
I wish I had something ridiculous to offer you, but I am just a mere peasant. Image

More pics here. To further refine ridiculous I am looking for cash plus trade of another nice Ric or two. So maybe ridiculous is the wrong word. All offers considered. Thanks for looking.

Hey Dave. Looks like someone tried to do some weird carvings in that 4004 and added a third pickup too!

I've got a brand new Mapleglo 4003 and $100. Let me know if you're interested in a trade.

I really wish I had bought a Lemmy when they were for sale ... then I would have used it for wall art for a few years then I would joyfully put it up on ebay and took the money and ran ... since I am not a 4 string guy it would have been no problem to let it go ...

Aww - now if it was an Ibanez copy and $125 we might have a deal.

Hey - have you all seen this carved guitar. It's not a Ric but it's pretty cool if you're into that sort of thing.

Ok Dave. How about a Rogue Beatle bass, a MIA Fender 75 RI J bass, a 50th anniversary gold strat, and a very nice 4003 monty brown, plus $200 if you include the shipping? Image

Those Monty Brown Rics are nice. I wish I would have bought one. I think I will sell my kidney now. Can I do that on eBay? How about eBay Hong Kong? If I sell both kidneys I can get twice as much.

The best I could do would be a '05 4003 BBR, a Hamer 12 string bass and about $600 in cash. Sad, ain't it?

Wow Steve - those are some nice basses to have. Nothing to be sad about there! I finally got my 360 BBR and I love that color.
As for defining ridiculous - well how much would I get for a kidney anyway? That's starting to look like the way to go.

Dave, you're right! I've also got a white Thunderbird and a Fender Jazz 5 to keep me company. It's not so bad, after all! Image

I sent out a page to Mr. Crisman...kinda like the Bat-signal..hang on to your kidney a little longer.
