Yes...One recipient...I do know how to send emails.....Itried again and it DID go through.
I was trying to send the same exact email all of the times. Not different emails. Resend...nope, Resend...nope, Resend...nope Resend...nope. Hours later...Resend and it worked. You tell me.

I also gave up e-mailing Sergio as well. I offered to buy him a drink while I was in Portugal week before last but never had a response. Oh well, but we did stand on the Marquis Pombal with tens of thousands of other Portuguese when they defeated England in the World Cup match and my wife ended up on their national TV with some slick looking newscaster. Not all was lost.
Ben - I was not questioning your ability - I was thinking of the return messages you posted and it mentioned "too many invalid recipients". I also had tried to traceroute and do a whois on the two IP addresses and got no return. I didn't think of it at the time but now wonder if the path got lost somewhere between you and Portugal, there was an intermittient gateway server down in the path to him, or his email service server was down.
Glad you got through.
Glad you got through.
John..I was so frustrated at that point..
I agree with you about possible server problems. It is a long way ya know. It did work last night as well around the same time of night. Maybe I hit it at the right time!

Very strange, gentlemen. I have no idea what could be the problem. I did receive a message from John (Allgaier) a few hours ago though. Do keep trying to reach me via e-mail. I also have been receiving e-mails from Philip Hannaart, who is in Holland.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.
