I believe I failed to express what I was attempting to. I meant that my primary interest is meeting fellow Forumites/Ric personnel and it's my impression that the events, while they may be wonderful, will cut into the confluence time....relegating them to the afternoon with the shows occupying the evenings. From my experience there is generally not much conversation/socializing at concerts and these events, being out of my personal musical taste, are that much less attractive.
I much prefer hanging with "normal" folk, I just meant that out of any "famous" Ric players the only one I'd have any interest in meeting or seeing perform would be Lemmy/Motorhead. I realize that there are other unannounced things in the works....I'm just weighing the length of the drive, expense and what I "know" to be going on to see if it is worth it to me. I'm not trying to be a "wet blanket", just pondering my own situation.

OH man, what I wouldn't give to go.
I'd also like a chance to meet the "forum folks".
Medical reasons (a pending surgery for the Mrs. & the kids are back in school then) take me out of the ballgame.
I'm going to be SICK if Chris Squire shows up. Not that I'm a star struck kind of guy, but to meet the person who has had such a profound impression on my musical life, well, I'd just love to meet him.
Not to mention, BEN promised me a HAT!
Oh well, if I'm lucky, I'll live long enough to make the 100th Anniversary. Hey, I'll only be 70...its possible, isn't it?

Well, if he wouldn't mind making a stop at West Palm Beach Int'l Airport, I can loan him my 4001CS
