The current MID is a one-step opaque color. It receives a CV over it, but it is not a basecoat/candy as it was awhile back.
Diamond Jetglo? I don't think so.

Hmm... very intriguing.
No new models eh? Of guitars?
How about this for an off-the-wall guess:
My guess is that the 4x75 refers to an amplifier cabinet.
My guess is that there have been some parts lying around to make a small run of amplifiers in commemoration of the 75th anniversary.
After all, amplification is a huge part of the Rickenbacker legacy. You couldn't have an electric guitar without something to plug it into.
My guess is that 300 will be released.
It's not a new model of guitar. It's not a bass, although it might have a bass speaker.
My guess is that Jefferson Starship was using one the other night.

This is the right bit, right JH? >> "My guess is that Jefferson Starship was using one the other night."
We already knew about a forthcoming limited edition (hah!) colour so if that's what it is then the entire thread constitutes the beating of a dead horse, grumble. I'm vegetarian so I don't appreciate beatings or dead horses.
Well...can't wait to see the colour, dead horses nothwithstanding.

From what JH just said, I'm guessing that Graham is the one that is EXACTLY correct.
JH said earlier:
"more like 300... 4x75"
"see what the cat is playing..."
"no new models"
"no limited editions"
So I think Graham is correct.
75 of 330 CAPRI
75 of 335 CAPRI
75 of 360 CAPRI
75 of 365 CAPRI
300 300 series guitars.
Although... they would be limited editions wouldn't they?
