That treble pickup surround looks legit though.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

That looks like "Ibanez" material there.

Looks identical to the Neck Plates that were on my SG Bass-6string Double-Neck.

FYI: The Truss Rod Cover would never have come on the original saying Rickenbacker. It would have said Ibanez or nothing at all.

I love the look of the maple fretboard and the black inlays ... Ric should do that ...

I never played Charvels ... but I like the look of black inlays on a maple fretboard ...

I think black triangles on a painted white fretboard would be mind blowing. Of course the rest of the bass would be white too, probably a unbound body so it's like a tuxedo.
