Very surprising the salesman on the phone (unaware at first) had to look it up due to the 5000 guitars in inventory???

...& not aware of the "Link" ...now he is.

I emphasized "this is George Harrisons" ... a wee bit of History.. he went on to say many Rockstars call Ed daily" due to the way they are treated by many auction "type" folk..." whatever that means.

According to Scott, there at Ed Romans it does not BELONG to the Harrisons anymore???
It belongs to a high end collector of Cars & Guitars ?

'This can all be verified it is the guitar through RICKENBACKER ? JH?

2 friends I know in the cars & guitars immediately come to mind.

Why it would be flipped by "some" collector ?
Shocking.

A phone call from the Vegas Store..they spoke to KH at Rickenbacker...quote "they must be referring to the one built in late 64" ?

Estate still has the 63.

Wassup Kenny?
Still wondering bout the SN too.

Jeff,

How do you know they still own it? Committing a fraud like this seems pretty ballsy even for the anti-christ. I'm nervous!

The one built in late '64? AFAIK, George had two - the '63 and a "new style" '65. What gives?

Gee, Brian I forgot about Olivia being in Vegas recently! But, I just can't see her getting hard up to part with something like that! Plus that's pretty BIG news if she would have sold it off! Something would've leaked out by now don't ya think?

I do Jeff! I also can't see her dealing with Satan! She may not have sold to him, it may have come to him from a 3rd party, but having said that, I would be shocked beyond belief that she would sell the guitar to anyone! Especially this one. George was known for giving guitars away to friends, but not this one. This is one he kept. That has to be mean something, doesn't it? I think this was more than a guitar to him.

Well if it's true then it's a total disaster! If ever there was a spiritual guitar then George's original 12 string has to be it. It was sitting in a stand on stage for the memorial concert for George the year after he passed away - remember?
It was like his spirit was on the stage - embodied in that guitar. It is so sad to think of that guitar being placed in some private collection somewhere.

I don't believe that it's actually for sale. If it was, where are the news stories? There's been nothing at all in newspapers, magazines, on TV, radio or the internet.

Don't you think someone would have reported on it?
