Well, here is the picture I promised (I’ve also sent a few to Stuart to post). It’s beautiful!!! The sound is everything I imagined it to be and the neck and action are superb! The neck seems a bit faster (and a bit flatter on the back) than my 360/6, but I haven't yet sat down and done an A-B. I will post more later if anyone's interested. Contrary to a few reports, I found it incredibly easy to play. No problems at all fretting the strings on the relatively narrow neck (no different than my 360/6). There is quite a bit of dark wood grain in the top, especially a dark vertical stripe near each horn. This makes it unlike most other c63s I've seen, but very much like my 360/6 (It’s really growing on me).
When I pulled it out of the case, both high E strings were in the same bridge slot. No big deal, I just loosened the string, slid it into the correct slot and retuned. Also, the inside edge of the sound hole closest to the top horn is a bit rough, but maybe that's intended and the way the original was. Anyone have any wisdom here?
I hope it doesn’t sound like I'm complaining (trust me I'm ecstatic!). I just wanted to give you as much info as possible. Keep the faith guys, it’s worth the wait. BTW, the first thing I played was "Hard Days Night."

John -- Wow, she's a beaut. Congrats. I couldn't see that dark vertical line of wood until I pulled up the pix that Stuart posted. Tell ya what, if those dark stripes are REALLY bothering you all that much, I completely understand and would be willing to take the guitar off your hands! I mean, you've waited this long, you should continue to wait for the one that is JUST PERFECT.
Until then, I imagine I could put this one to SOME use....
