Here's a really cool video of the Bealtes Rehearsing Hey Jude at Abbey Road. Cool to see some footage from the White Album era. It's about 6 minutes long and the quality isn't too terrible. Just thought I'd share.

Ringo: I keep getting me trousers caught on the pedal

John: Take them off.

There was another video after that, with the boys and George Martin discusing/playing "Tomorrow Never Knows". What is the video from? Anthology? I've only got the VHS version

That video you are talking about Brian, was from the dvd anthology. The special features disc I believe.

Nice to see that they would take a few minutes to muck about, even when the meter was running on the most expensive studio time in London.

It's a great video. Thanks.

Very cool! Did anyone else notice the condescending look George Martin was giving George Harrison?

Yep sure did Brian. The contrast in accents is a hoot too. Scouse and polished London upper class.

I didn't think his Martins expression was condescending ... although GH was trying to make a point in a very roundabout way.

On second viewing, I guess there is something there .... maybe its slight annoyance as in "sorry George, but I didn't just smoke 35 joints like you did so I'm having a little trouble following your train of thought, but I'll try to be patient as you zero in on what you're trying to say"

I have a new PC at home, and it won't play YouTube videos. Keeps saying old version of Flash or Java is not enabled. I've DLed latest version of Flash five times and checked Java scripting is enabled about ten times.
AAAGGGHHH!!!

Speaking of Hey Jude, you all heard the story about Allman recommneding the song to W. Pickett, right?
