I was thinking the same thing; we should move to the artist section!

Melissa, let me know if you want the audio I got. I just got home and I'm having trouble finding the portion from where you were asked if your husband plays music to the end... I'm worried I might not have that part. I had to stop and re-stream at that point. I heard the whole thing but may not have the second half. D'oh!!! Double D'oh!!!

Your success today should make you feel good.

I want to hear more about your hubby playing a Rickenbacker bass. I did hear that right didn't I? There must be an interesting story or two to tell on that topic.

If anyone can post the audio somewhere, please let us cads and bounders know. I worked from home today so I could catch the show, and of course I got caught on a phone call with a gaggle of idiots. But it sounds like you hit it out of the ballpark, congrats Melissa!

I have it on audio tape at work, might be able to convert it to MP3 tonight when I get home from work and upload it to a site where everyone can download it....the ProTools capture will sound better than mine, but I'll do it anyway, I am in the process of converting all my cassettes to MP3 anyway! Image Melissa, do YOU have a copy of it?

My recording sounds pretty good excepting that internet metallic chirp noise. But it cut off halfway through the second song. Image

I used Media Player but it quit streaming during the interview between the two songs. When I got it back up it repeated part of the interview and then went to the second song in progress. So I guess I missed no more than a 30 second span. I don't know if the problem was at my end or the stations.

Milibee, I think JH owes you big time. I lost count of how many times the word "Rickenbacker" was used, especially since I heard that part of the interview twice.

That happened to me too. Probably just part of the process. All that stuff eludes me.

My stream quit midway thru also, but I re-started it and it sounded like it picked up where it left off. So I just have to do a quick edit there and edit out the gap. I'll see what I can do with it tonight and post it if it works.

Same thing for me - it picked up where it left off. Then halfway through the second song my hard drive got low on space! Can't believe I forgot to check that.

Any recommendations on where I should host the MP3 file? I'll link it here, of course.
