What's everyone doing?

Post by 8mileshigh »

Just thinking about the 75th weekend and trying to work out how I'll be spending my time...............

I'm flying in Wednesday and hoping to meet Mike Gutierrez. Then Mike's taking me to some guitar stores, strip joints etc (only joking about those guitar stores......I mean strip joints Image )

Not sure what's happening Thursday??? Other than waiting for Friday.

THEN...Friday morning. Up early and getting to the gym........NOT!

Image

Have a hearty breakfast and then off for a factory tour................

Image

back for some lunch..............quick change and try and sneak on another factory tour.............

Image

back to the hotel and then another quick change for the jam........

Image

Whoops.......someone will have to lend me a Ric!!!

Then Saturday it's off to the show and tell.............

Image

Then it's the concert Saturday evening.

Sunday looks pretty free up until the evening unless the confluence runs Sunday as well??

So anybody got any ideas, if I have any spare time, of anything I shouldn't miss while I'm in LA? I just want to make sure I pack as much into my short stay as I can.

Sitting around the pool with a few beers could be an option, Graham........

Maybe we can do something like that when I hit London in October, Graham. Show me a couple of nice pubs, eh?

Hm. Make sure you'll post some pics and - ehm - get to the main event after hanging around the pool. Image

I still trying to figure out exactly how to get at least one of my lefty Rics (silver vintage case) out there? I'm not to thrilled out taking on the plane as it would probably have to be gate-checked. I thought of shipping it as air cargo on the same flight that I'm on. I've also given thought to shipping it directly to me in care of the hotel.

How is everyone else getting their guitars to the confluences?
